Nicole D. Jackson is a technical staff member in Sandia National Laboratories’ Energy Water Systems Integration Department. She received her B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Civil Engineering as well as M.S. degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a M.S. degree in Engineering Mechanics from Virginia Tech. Her expertise centers on using historical and projected climate data to quantify exposure and impacts from extreme weather events (including wildfires and hurricanes) to energy and food systems.
