Ed is Head of Energy Storage at CRU, where he leads research on the global energy storage market, with a focus on techno-economic analysis, cost drivers, demand and technology trends. Trained as a materials scientist, his background spans electro-ceramic systems including solid oxide fuel cells, solid-state battery materials and lithium-ion cathodes. He holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering and an MEng in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Sheffield.
